German WWI Telegraph Battalion Soldier, Kar98

Original era photography. A nice clear image of a circa 1914 Telegraph Battalion soldier armed with a Kar98 with muzzle cover in place. He wears the prewar dark blue tunic, and on his left shoulder you can just see the tell-tale curling of the top and bottom of the letter 'T' with the BN number below, which might be a 2. On his head he wears the M1915 leather shako with field badge. No markings on the reverse.
