Soviet EXPORT AK47 Magazine Pouch NO MARKINGS

Available
$40.00

Description

Very interesting NVA VC Soviet Supplied AK47 magazine pouch with handmade cloth name tape sewn to the front. As you know, the USSR sent a few hundred thousand AK47s to Hanoi. The AK47 had by then been replaced with the AKM in Russia. The  Soviet shipping/storage crate held 10 AKs, 10 magazine pouches, 10 bayonets, 10 oil & solvent bottles, 40 magazines and 10 slings. It was a self contained squad size arms room in a crate. As such, wherever a Soviet made AK pops up, a magazine pouch is sure to follow. This pouch is interesting in that there are no Soviet markings. These are always found under the flap. This would look great in your NVA, Cuban or Iraqi web gear display.
