North Vietnamese Army Newspaper June 27, 1970 STOP THE WAR & 400 'Puppet' soldiers killed

This is a scarce four page NVA propaganda newspaper printed in Hanoi in 1970. This one says STOP THE WAR & indicates 400 “puppets” killed. NVA Political Officers, who were superior to and who paralleled their military counterparts, maintained ideological control over troops with this very newspaper. Through these short newspapers, the unit Political Officer would inform his troops about NVA victories on the battlefield; issues back home regarding such things the abundant production of food, weapons & the sound political decisions of the communist leadership in the north. An actual NVA newspaper would greatly complement the other items in your NVA VC personal effects display. Each unfolded page is about 22 x 16 inches
