Japanese WWII Late War Military Pattern Field Cap

Original era manufacture. Dark olive green wool felt exterior, over a buckram like lining material. Two ventilator grommets on each side, green painted paper, adjustable chinstrap, secured with two small brass buttons. Matching material circular disc on the front, with a small brass star installed by me to complete. Thin imitation leather sweatband with original label inside. The hat has not been crushed or torn, wear to the surface fabric at the top of the crown. Likely never worn.
