Description
During World War II in Japan, Japanese para-military forces such as government officials, civil defense officials, students, factory, workers, etc. wore militaristic type clothing. This clothing closely resemble that of the Japanese military, especially the army. This type of clothing was referred to as national service closing. Included amongst the clothing worn was this style of Japanese field cap, which closely resembled the cap worn by the army. This cap is an unissued condition with the original manufactures tag on it.
