A piece of riveted aluminum from a downed Japanese Airplane. This piece was originally painted brown and blue. The Type 2 Fighter Interceptor KI44 was one of the known Japanese to have brown fuselages and wings but it is possible other units painted their aircraft this color. Measures 5 1/4 inches by 2 inches. The blue might be cockpit paint?
