WW2 Japanese Army Type 97 Gas Mask with Bag 1943 – Matching Number Bag and Filter

Sold
$500.00

Description

These have gotten very hard to find as few were brought back. Most Japanese soldiers discarded these in combat as being gassed was not very likely. This one has the original bag with shoulder strap and belly ties. It also has a very supple hose and beautiful Showa 17 (1943) dated canister. The bag is numbered 154819 and named. The number 154819 is written in Japanese on the front bottom left of the bag. It is also written in Japanese three times on the ID tag on the shoulder strap. This number is the same number as the gas mask filter. Sadly the face piece is not in perfect shape but this could be easily swapped out. Also included is a dried chemical decon kit bag as found inside the gas mask bag.
