North Vietnamese Army Cadre to Viet Cong Mainforce Bamboo Sun Helmet

This is the most unique NVA Cadre helmet we have ever seen. It was made from split bamboo with a waterproof groundsheet cover under and khaki hand made cover. The top dome and three remaining vents were taken from an early NVA pith helmet after it wore out. There is only hand stitching visible.
