North Vietnamese Medal 3 Hour War Labor

This is a medal awarded to those who worked at three hours a day toward the war effort.  This was taken from an NVA who thought it was worthwhile to have this award with him.  The award could be given for labor digging air raid shelters, making bandages, sewing uniforms, or any of the thousands of defense jobs filled by the population in the North.
