North Vietnamese Cong An Insignia Set

The Cong An were the police force in the North and in all areas along the Ho Chi Minh Trail and for duty in PAVN liberated areas and rear bases. This is nice used set of Cong An Insignia worn on the shoulder, collar and soft cap.  The collar tabs are wool felt not postwar synthetic. The shoulder boards have the wartime aluminum domed star buttons and scrap cotton backings. The NLF VC had their own version called the An Ninh. The had similar cap badges but with red and blue colors.  The An Ninh not have shoulder boards and collar tabs.
