North Vietnamese Army Issue Sleeping Bag

This is one of perhaps three or four NVA sleeping bags we have seen since the mid 1970s. The deign is consistent in that they all have three buttons at one end and are basically a rectangular cotton pouch to slip into. Keep in mind that the Central Highlands of Viet Nam as well as other places in RVN, Laos and Cambodia do get damp and chilly during the day and night.
