North Vietnamese Army Officer's Uniform Early Gray Cotton with Epaulettes

This is a rare uniform made in Hanoi with deep buttons on the pockets and epaulettes, with thin buttons on the tunic and trousers. The trousers have opposing buttons at the waist, and likely had button and loop at the bottom of the trousers legs before they were tailored a bit shorter for the officer. This is also what an NVA Cadre to a VC Main Force Unit might wear. This is a very rare color as most were khaki and various shades of green or light gray.
