Description
In 1944, due to shortages of steel, the Imperial Japanese Navy Technical Bureau developed a design for a cheap, easy-to-make hand grenade made of ceramic or porcelain materials. This was called the Type 4 hand grenade. These were actually documented as having been used on Leyte, Iwo Jima & Okinawa. They were either white or brown. This is the hard to find brown version. This is inert. Can not be shipped outside of the US or to restricted US locations.
