North Vietnamese Army Identification Manual “Frontline Aircraft Nowadays”

A very rare NVA VC pocket size manual to identify US jet aircraft. Note the MIG on the cover seeming to have air superiority over the whole world. Each page has the specifications on a particular jet with an image; 31 US fast movers are covered. The cover translates to “Frontline” (upper right) Aircraft Nowadays (bottom).” The North Vietnamese Army and Viet Cong suffered enormous casualties on all fronts due to the total air superiority the US held. Shooting down and identification and exploration of US aircraft and pilots and crew was a paramount mission for the NVA and VC. This is the exact type of manual that would be carried by any AAA crew or unit tasked with air defense.
