German Pre WWI, Bavarian Cuirassier Dress Sword, Eickhorn Mfg

Original era manufacture. Double fuller, polished steel blade which measures 32.5 inches in length, running straight and true. Etched and frosted panels on each side, each bearing the Bavarian motto, 'In Treue Fest'. Plain steel guard, backstrap and pommel.The steel pommel cover is missing revealing the solder holding the blade tang in place. Black plastic covered grip bound with triple strand wire. Dent free black painted steel scabbard with most of the original finish remaining. Surface corrosion on the drag. Spots of white garage spill paint on the scabbard and guard.
