US WWII USMC Canteen Set, 1st Style Cover, Complete, Named

Original era manufacture. Unlined, light OD canvas cover without a drain hole in the bottom. Color remains strong.Aluminum, AGM Co.1942 dated canteen with cork,  and a LF&C 1941 dated aluminum cup. Stenciled name on the cover, W.P.NORWOOD.  Ancestry shows listings for a William P. Norwood from 1942-1953, with service with the 2nd Marine Division 1943-1945.
