ChiCom North Vietnamese Army Viet Cong AK-47 SKS Type 53 Oiler

Neat little ChiCom oil and solvent bottle embossed with Chinese characters. As you know the NVA VC used mostly ChiCom made Type 56 – AK-47 assault rifles. This bottle was carried in the ChiCom chestpouch. Every solider was issued some kind of oil bottle as weapons maintenance was required in the hot wet humid climate of Viet Nam. When the oil and solvent ran out many weapons rusted. You can see one of these two spout oil bottles next to the ChiCom AK Chestpouch.
