North Vietnamese Army Officer's Mapcase

Super hard to find NVA Officer's Mapcase. They are made from rubberized materials and have pencil-pen holders under the flap. Map cases were typically turned into S-2 for immediate exploitation so these are seldom seen. This is an unknown Warsaw Pact supplied map case, likely Bulgarian. They were not issued with shoulder straps but the NVA who had this one added an SKS sling to it.
