North Korean KPA Small Brass Prong Back Cap Badge with Red and White Enamel

Following the Korean War, the North Korean People's Army changed their cap badge from something very simple as shown here to this more elaborate badge. This is a higher quality early badge given the fine enamel work done and the fact it was made of brass. Other versions were brass but painted. The current version is plastic. This one has a loop on the back for sewing to the field cap, dress cap or winter cap.
