US WWII M1905/42 16 Inch Bayonet and Scabbard, SA 1909

Original period manufacture. Uncut 16 inch blade bayonet made by SA, Springfield Arsenal and dated 1909. Most of the original parkerized finish to the blade, guard and pommel, with scattered areas of surface spotting, but zero corrosion pitting.  Sound, original wooden grips, with minimal marring from service use. Original green plastic scabbard with the Ordnance Bomb proof on the throat, and showing very minor wear to the surface. Overall a very clean example of this classic bayonet.
