Austrian Imperial Era, Hussar Officers Attilas, Project, Two Coats

Original period manufacture. Lot of two Austrian imperial era officer Hussar Attila's from the same regiment. These came in with the uniform costume house collection last summer, each has in turn been modified to suite the costumers needs, but form the basis for one complete coat. Dark blue wool gabardine coats with elaborate gold wire frogging. The interiors are in the Austrian colors of red and white, and are complete. Of the two, the coat with the collar rank would be my pick to restore, as the rank is intact, and the thin gold cord shoulder strap is in place. All that would be needed to remove would be the front frogging from the second coat, and attach it to the collar rank coat. What you would have to source would be two Hussar type toggle buttons. No real moth issues to mention on either coat, just normal age and wear. Size about a 36.
