Description

Beautiful early M35 'pea-green' helmet in light worn condition. Has a typical army 'Big-Foot' decal on the left side rating over 90% and showing nice details. This pattern eagle matches the helmet maker Quist. The tricolor shield on the right side has been period removed due the 1940 army regulations, as this decal was just like a shooting target. The aluminum liner sits firmly in place and retains its full lenght draw string. The split pins remain straight. Inside the shell a 'Dome-stamp' acceptance mark is still visible, showing the date: 1937. The helmet is named in the rear the K.H. Ritter. Maker and size marked on the side: Q62. Lot number in the rear: 369
