France Gamelle modèle 1935 (Aluminium) Japy

In a very good condition a French canteen model 1935 (Aluminium) Japy The maker marked Japy variant is undated but these are known to be signed by owner with dates, dating from 1939 and earlier. Used by the French army during WWII domestic and in overseas areas. There are aluminium and iron versions. Safe to say is that an iron version was not used overseas because of tending to rust. Complete with seperate food container.
