Kameradenbund der Wehrmacht 16. Panzer und Infanterie Division

In an excellent condition a very rare Comrades League of the Wehrmacht 16th Panzer and Infantry Division This is a reunion remebrance badge from September 10th 1977 in Münster. Marked on the back by the maker Stuco 5522 from Speicher. This division surrendered in Stalingrad on February 1943 and was newly formed from division members who were not in Stalingrad and new members in 1943 and was stationed in Italy where it fought against the Italian allied invasion and was sent back to Russia in November of the same year. It surrendered as one of the last divisions in Czechoslovakia in May 1945 in part to the Americans but they were handed back to the russians as prisoners of war.
