Description

In an excellent condition a Cologne Garde association 1884 Suum Cuique Suum Cuique is loosly translated as 'to each his own' or 'May all get their due' Frontside: Coln Garde Verein 1884. with a small ring attached to a Garde badge with the inscriping Suum Cuique. In the middle the prussian eagle and underneath two laurel branches. Backside: Safety pin. No maker markings Coln is the Prussian Germanification of the name Cologne (French name) and was introduced in 1900 with approval of the king. This changed to Köln in 1919. So this dates also this Garde badge between 1900-1918.
