Standard pattern 45-70 scabbard as used throughout the Indian Wars and Spanish American War. Dent free steel scabbard with a mix of scattered surface corrosion and steel patina finish. Black leather frog, complete, which has stiffened from age but remains flexible, and is secure to the scabbard body. Brass New Jersey NJ pivot disc.
