Swiss Bayonet M1957 SIG Stgw (Victoria Schwyz)

In an excellent condition a SIG Stgw M1957 bayonet Maker marked on the Ricasso V which stands for Victoria Schwyz and low number 428918. Otherside a Logo WF for Waffen Fabrik. The Victoria Schwyz made the firs batch of these bayonets numbering up to about 500.000. Afterwards Werner created the serienumbers up to 700.000 Very early ones have the full name of the maker marked on the ricasso. The bayonet was made for the Sturmgewehr 57 (Stgw 57) On the crossguard marked KV144 The scabbard is owner marked W. Stocker and maker marked and dated at the back G. Bertolin, Sellaio. VIRA/ G, Tic. 78 (1978) The plastic scabbard is date marked 70 which means it is from 1970. The scabbard and frog must have been replaced at some time. The entire bayonet is an excellent state. Only the scabbard has scratches because it is made from plastic and be easily scratched.
