In an excellent condition a UK war medal 1939 - 1945 The War Medal 1939-1945 is a British award for people who served a minimum of 28 days in the period between 3 September 1939 and 2 September 1945 in the British Army or Merchant Navy. The medal has a diameter of 36mm and is made of a copper-nickel alloy. This medal is also awarded in Canada, but it is made of silver. Frontside: A bust of King George VI.
