DDR Modell 59 (AKM Type I) Bayonet

In a very good condition an East German AKM M59/I bayonet This knife bayonet is for use with the 7.62 mm. Maschinenpistole Kalashnikow Modernisierter (MPiKM) Kalashnikov AKM assault rifle. This was a copy of the Russian 6X3 bayonet, the East German NVA bayonet variant has a black plastic grip. Black steel scabbard with a black rubber insulator. Gray leather belt hanger and gray web retention strap. East Germany produced the Modell 59 type I bayonet from 1965–1978. The scabbard is numbered 5 and the cross-guard of the bayonet is marked 5854. The knife bayonet is in excellent condition
