Description

In a very good condition a silver buttonhole ribbon with miniature medal The Knopflochspange mit Verdienstmedaille des Bayerischen Industriellen Verbandes was made by Carl Poellath Münz- und Prägewerk Schrobenhausen from Augsburg Oberhausen. The medal has a Silver hallmark 990 (which is almost pure silver) The medal is made most likely made between 1910 and 1918, because in 1910 this company was awarded the title of Royal Bavarian and, under Pope Pius X, that of ‎‎Papal‎‎ ‎‎Purveyor‎‎ to the ‎‎Court.‎ The bigger (normal) medals came in a box with a paper in which the company mentioned these titles (Royal Bavarian and Papal Court supplier). The Bavarian title was lost after 1918 so they were unable to use this title after that time.
