Yugoslavia M1948 Mauser Bayonet

Very good conditioned very early M1948 Yugoslavian bayonet Nicely blued all over and patina on the wooden grips. No maker markings, which should be for this type of bayonet in cyrillic factory 44. On the other side of the ricasso there are two stamps the BK in circle and a marking M or W and BK is stamped on the cross-guard and the otherside numbered 1180. The scabbard is also very nicely blued and without any dents. High numbered 83141. On the scabbard mouth marking W and BK are present The excellent coditioned frog is marked on the back with BK. Blade length 24,7cm overall length 37,9cm The M1948 bayonet was a short version of the pre-War M1924 bayonet, adopted when Yugoslavia rebuilt the Vojno Tehnicki Zavod (Military Technical Institute), which was totally destroyed during the Second World War.
