Yugoslavia M1948 Mauser Bayonet

Very good conditioned bayonet nicely blued and patina on the wooden grips. No maker markings, which should be for this type of bayonet in cyrillic factory 44. On the other side of the ricasso there are two stamps the BK in circle and a marking M or W and BK is stamped on the cross-guard and the otherside numbered 59756. The scabbard is also very nicely blued and without any dents. Numbered 8758 and marked with a triangle inside BT3. This is strange because the BT3 in triangle is known to be on the the M1924 Yugoslavian bayonet. Blade length 24,7cm overall length 37,8cm The M1948 bayonet was a short version of the pre-War M1924 bayonet, adopted when Yugoslavia rebuilt the Vojno Tehnicki Zavod (Military Technical Institute), which was totally destroyed during the Second World War.
