Heer M42 Helmet, Kav. Rgt. 3 Officer

Very nicely marked and historic, Heer no decal M42, HKP 66, #5432(?) Named to 'Lt. Bender, 3. (S.M.G.) Schw./ Kav. Rgt. 3' — 'Lieutenant Bender, Heavy 3rd. Machine gun Company, 3rd Cavalry Regiment.' This inscription in ink literally covers the rear half of the liner. The liner is light golden colored and in fine condition and the helmet overall shows very little where but some age patina. The strap is also intact and original to the helmet. Overall a great late War piece very well inscribed. COA accompanies.
