South Africa - Cape Peninsula Rifles (CPR) Gilding Metal Helmet Badge, Pagri Fitting

A dark toned gilding metal example which has been worn but with a slider presumably for wearing on the pagri band on the tropical / sun helmet. Some signs of service wear, some traces of verdigris to reverse otherwise in good worn condition.Owen 315 - 317 refer but this one in brass gilding metal.Comm BoHa (484)
