French WW1 Souvenir Adrian Helmet .

Helmet received a nice hand painted dull grey finish over the horizon factory blue as seen with many of these WW1 examples. At some point after the war this example had a hole drilled to the peak for hanging and different colors applied to the outside shell, brown to the back peak, black to the crown and its period example front badge. The inside still has its original liner that at one point was covered by the serving soldier in cloth as insulation against the cold. Chinstrap is its period example.
