US Pre WWI 1907 Pattern, T-Handle Shovel Cover, Krag Style Carrier, RIA 1909

Original era manufacture. Near new condition shovel carrier of a pattern introduced in 1907, for the newly introduced individual Infantry entrenching shovel. Produced under contract at Rock Island Arsenal, this example is dated 1909 on the leather securing strap and canvas body. Looks like it was made yesterday, a beauty.
