Battledress Blouse, 23rd Armoured Brigade

40 pattern battledress blouse dated 1945, tailored collar and badged to an officer of the Royal Tank Regiment in 23rd Armoured Brigade. Printed formation signs to both sleeves and a silk woven tank badge to the right. Captain's pips to each epaulette and blue/white unit identification ribbons which are most likely for 23 Armoured Signal Squadron which was part of the brigade in late 45, early 46 when the unit was in Greece during the civil war. There are also signs of green stitching on the epaulettes, presumably this officer transferred from another RTR regiment.
