Officers Acoutrements Tin, Somerset L.I.

Metal tin containing items to an officer of the Somerset Light Infantry. The tin has a brass maker/supplier plaque to the front 'Douglas, New Bond Street, Bath', and another to the lid, 'W. Barrett, Esq, 2nd Somerset Rgt.', the interior lined with crimson velvet. Contains a pair of bullion shoulder rank epaulettes for Lt. Col. with screw post buttons, a collar for a dress tunic with bullion tresse and high quality collar badges, 14 regimental buttons and sword belt with knot. All in very good condition, all of the buttons are Jennens & Co, London.
