French WWI Trench Art Letter Opener, Brest 1918

Original period manufacture. All brass construction with a nicely decorated scimitar shaped blade displaying the name Brest 1918, and crossed French & American flags.Overall length is just under 8 inches, small copper crown soldered to the bullet casing grip.
