US WWII Era, 34th Field Artillery Helmet Insignia

Original period manufacture. Stamped steel insignia which we believe was worn on the front of the helmet liner.The image depicts a vertical artillery shell over a vehicle tire, with a gilded finish. The emblem measures 50 x 60 mm, with two threaded mounting points on the reverse. We have two available, each near identical to the other, sold by the one.
