A scarce First World War period Canadian Expeditionary Force '134th Infantry Battalion also known as the 48th Highlanders CEF gold sweetheart brooch', the reverse impressed '9ct' (9 carat gold). Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings and complete with a velvet lined fitted leather case with retailer's details 'J.W.Benson. Ltd Ludgate Hill London.' this is in very good condition on the inside but shabby on the outside. Width 41mm. Height 15mm.
