A scarce original First World War period fine quality '14th Infantry Battalion Royal Montreal Regiment gold sweetheart pin badge'; Crowned blue enamel Garter 'Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense' motto with 'CANADA' scroll below, the voided centre bearing Canadian Maple Leaf with embossed title; the reverse impressed '15ct' (15 carat gold). Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel. An excellent example. Height 31mm.
