A rare original circa First World War period British Made 'Canadian Young Men's Christian Association pin badge'; die stamped gilt Maple Leaf bearing embossed Greek letters 'PX' (Chi Rho one of the earliest forms of Christogram), an inverted 'Triangle Spirit Body Mind' and surmounted by a Beaver; the reverse with an applied maker's tablet 'GAUNT LONDON'. Very good condition, complete with substantial pin fittings. gilt finish remains bright. Height approx 30mm.
