The Toronto Scottish Regiment silver sweetheart brooch

A very scarce original post 1921 period US manufacturer 'Toronto Scottish Regiment silver and blue enamel pin badge' the centre bearing a Unicorn's head superimposed over Battle honour 'Belgium France 1916 1919', Maple Leaf, saltire, motto circlet 'CARRY ON' within thistle sprays; the reverse impressed 'Sterling Silver' and Maker's details 'Service S.S.Ltd' (Service Supply Company). Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel and including a safety chain. Height 29mm. The overseas battalion was disbanded in December 1945.
