Canadian Machine Gun Corps silver regimental sweetheart brooch

A scarce original First World War period 'Machine Gun Corps Canada sweetheart pin badge'; crossed vickers guns surmounted by a Crown, with blue enamel Canada' scroll below; the reverse impressed 'Sterling Silver' and maker's details 'SSR' in a shield. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel. Height approx 29mm.
