US Vietnam War GI Steel Helmet, 1969 Contract Helmet Cover

Original period manufacture. Rear seam, non reflective edge steel helmet shell in original finish, with original sewn dark OD chin straps, missing the blackened steel fitting on the short side. Original Mitchell pattern camouflage cover marked DSA100-69-F6833, and below, 8515-261-6833 MPLS.SOC.F/T BLIND INC. honest service use and wear to the cover. High pressure liner with dark OD webbing, broken in the front, no sweatband or nape strap. Soldiers name and service number painted in green paint on the side. Grommet in the front of the helmet.
