French WWI Era, Decorative Plate, Reservist Soldiers

Original era manufacture. A nice quality ceramic plate measuring 9.5 inches in width. Two soldiers are shown, both wearing the early pattern uniform prior to 1914. The NCO asks 'What do you have inside?' the reservist replies 'Sergeant, I have my civilities'. Likely something is lost in the translation, but I think we get the idea. No damage, mounting loop on the reverse.
