WW2 German Gas Mask & Canister With Matching Numbered Gas Cape Bag & Gas Cape 1939/1940

Excellent 1940 period German gas mask & canister with gas cape & bag having matching number all from the same soldier. . Gas mask is of the M30 model in rubberised fabric with size mark '2' to facepiece & eagle & swastika waffenamt to inside edge along with the date '1939' to opposite side. All straps intact. The Fe37 filter still bears its eagle & swastika marking with a date 1940. Canister itself is dated 1940 to spare lense compartment & has a high porportion of its original green factory paint left to exterior. To the bottom of the canister is the painted over number of '252' this surmounted by the number '106' which matches that , in the same font, as that of the gas cape bag. The number '51' can be seen to the neck of the tin as well as the snout of the mask. Finally both long & short straps are 100% early wartime issue with leather keepers to long strap & short strap having maker stamp & date 1940.
