WW2 German ' Sauerstoff - Behandlungsgerat 38 ' Medical Box Lid

A superb display piece this being a cut down wooden lid from the German medical breathing apparatus set which was contained within . The set comprised an oxygen bottle with gauges , facepiece etc for administering oxygen . All of the white stencilled on grey lettering & medic roundel is original . An aluminium handle is fitted to one side which looks to be a very old later addition .
