WW2 German Three Colour Normandy Bocage Camouflage M40 Helmet

A three colour chunky camouflage army helmet in the classic Normandy bocage colours of tan ochre , forest green & brown .A helmet that has seen much combat wear this piece is typical of those worn by troops of the Army & Luftwaffe in the heavy bocage fighting against Allied forces as they fought their way inland. It is evident that the camouflage paint has been applied over the army decal this ordered to be hidden as of 1942. Showing signs of heavy action all three liner pins are totally original to the helmet with a well worn sweat engrained liner & original long chinstrap present ( Short buckle side minus) . Marked 'EF62' to underside of rim.
